What brown marmorated stink bugs look like
A shield-shaped bug roughly 17 millimetres long, mottled brown, with alternating light and dark bands on the antennae and along the abdominal edge. Those bands separate it from native stink bugs.
Where activity develops
It feeds on fruit, vegetables and ornamentals outdoors, then enters buildings in large numbers in autumn to overwinter in wall voids, attics and around window frames.
