3. Pest Identifier limitations
The Pest Identifier uses automated image analysis to provide a possible match based on the submitted photo and context. Results may be incomplete or incorrect because of image quality, angle, life stage, similar-looking species or other factors. We do not guarantee the accuracy of an AI result.
Do not rely on the Pest Identifier to determine whether a pest is dangerous, whether pesticide treatment is necessary or which treatment should be used. Avoid unlabelled products and unsafe do-it-yourself treatment. Contact Emerald Pest Control or another qualified professional for confirmation and recommendations appropriate to your situation. For an immediate threat to health or safety, contact the appropriate emergency or public authority.
4. Quotes, bookings and pest-control services
Submitting a form does not create a service contract, confirm an appointment or guarantee availability. A quote or appointment is confirmed only when Emerald communicates confirmation. Pricing and service recommendations may change after inspection if the conditions, pest, treatment area or information provided differ from the original inquiry.
Any pest-control work we agree to perform may be subject to separate service terms, preparation instructions, treatment records, invoices or written agreements. Those service-specific documents control if they conflict with these website terms.
5. Your submissions
You are responsible for ensuring that information you submit is accurate and that you have the right to provide any uploaded photo or document. Do not upload content containing another person’s sensitive information, unlawful material, malware or content that infringes another person’s rights.
You give us permission to use submitted content as reasonably necessary to analyze your inquiry, communicate with you, keep service records and provide requested services, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, bypass security controls, submit automated or fraudulent requests, reverse engineer protected functionality or use the Pest Identifier for unlawful, harmful or high-risk decision-making.
7. Intellectual property
The website’s original design, branding, text, graphics and other content are owned by or licensed to Emerald and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the website for personal, non-commercial information and service inquiries. No other rights are granted without written permission.
