What pavement ants look like
Pavement ants are small brown to black ants that often travel in defined trails. They can be seen around cracks in concrete, foundation edges and ground-level entrances.
Where activity develops
Colonies commonly establish beneath pavement, slabs, stones and foundation areas. Workers may enter kitchens and lower levels while searching for food and moisture.
