What sowbugs and pillbugs look like
These small grey crustaceans have segmented armoured bodies and many legs. Pillbugs can roll into a ball; sowbugs generally cannot.
Where activity develops
They require moisture and shelter beneath mulch, leaves, boards and stones. Indoor sightings usually occur near damp lower levels and entry points.
